Volunteers are key to the success of our Snowmobile Club
and we appreciate your help!
Our club gets many compliments about the condition of our trails, but much goes on behind the scene. The club depends on volunteer help, from those with a wide variety of skills. If you think you would enjoy helping to keep the trails in great shape, please let us know. We need volunteers.
Snowmobile Season
There are several ways to volunteer during the snowmobile season. While riding, please pick up branches and other debris that may have fallen on the trails. We also appreciate riders packing new snow with their sleds. The grooming process works better that way. You can let us know of any problems at info@moultonborosmc.org
Do you want to help groom the trails? We hold training sessions each fall. Click this link to see the prerequisite training video and take the test. We may be able to arrange for you to ride with a groomer during the season. Contact our grooming coordinator, using the address on our Points of contact page.
Labor Day to mid-December
Please consider joining us on Saturdays at 8AM from Labor day through mid-December. It takes hundreds of hours each year to get ready and we need help. The work generally involves cutting and moving brush and branches. We meet at our garage on Highway Garage Drive in Moultonborough (about a half mile down the Neck Rd on the left)
Consider: If each member helped just one Saturday each year we’d have the trails done in no time!!
All Year Long
If you want to get involved in club operations, we’d like to hear from you. More hands are welcome to help with processing memberships, equipment maintenance and coordinating social events and working with land-owners. We will put you to work!
