Issued by the Selectmen of the Town of Moultonborough, NH under RSA 287-A

 

1. Eligibility

This raffle is conducted by Moultonboro Snowmobile Club(the “Club”), a New Hampshire nonprofit organization exempt under IRC 501(c)(4), to raise funds in support of the purpose for which the Club was organized, as authorized under New Hampshire RSA 287-A.

Raffle tickets may be purchased by, and prizes may be awarded to, any person 16 years of age or older. Employees, officers, and directors of the Club and their immediate family members are permitted to purchase tickets and are eligible to win unless the Club’s bylaws or permit conditions state otherwise.

2. Tickets

  1. A maximum of 250 tickets will be sold, at $100.00 each. The Club reserves the right to close ticket sales earlier if all 250 tickets sell out before the stated end date.
  2. Each ticket is printed with the name of the Club, the date and place of the drawing, the prize to be awarded, and the amount of the donation, as required by RSA 287-A:3.
  3. Tickets are sold only by Club members or other individuals designated by the Club who receive no compensation for selling tickets, as required by RSA 287-A:4.
  4. All ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be issued for any reason, including if the purchaser does not win.
  5. Purchase of a ticket is a donation to the Club for the chance to win a prize; it is not a charitable contribution for federal income tax purposes and is not tax-deductible.

3. The Prize

The prize is one new 2027 Ski Doo MXZ Sport 137 snowmobile with an approximate retail value of $10,999, awarded “as is,” subject to any manufacturer’s or dealer’s warranty. No cash alternative will be offered unless the Club states otherwise in writing before the drawing. Title, registration, delivery, and any applicable fees are the responsibility of the winner unless the Club states otherwise.

4. The Drawing

  1. All sold ticket stubs will be placed in a drum, mixed up, and one stub will be drawn by a person with no connection to the raffle outcome.
  2. The drawing will be held on February 13, 2026 at 10am at 30 Highway Garage Rd, Moultonborough, NH. The winner need not be present to win.
  3. If fewer than 110 tickets are sold by the end of the sale period, the Club reserves the right to postpone or cancel the drawing and refund all ticket purchases.

5. Winner Notification & Prize Claim

  1. The winner will be notified by phone and/or email using the contact information provided at the time of ticket purchase.
  2. The winner will be required to provide a valid government issued ID, legal address, and taxpayer ID or Social Security Number before prize is awarded. Winner also agrees to fill out any paperwork required by DaSilva Motorsports. Winner agrees to pick up sled at location designated by the club or DaSilva.
  3. The winner must claim the prize within 30 days of the drawing. Unclaimed prizes will be handled at the Club’s discretion, consistent with New Hampshire law.

6. Tax Reporting & Withholding

The club will issue the winner a 1099 form for the prize.  The winner is responsible for all taxes and fees associated with winning the prize.

7. General Conditions

  1. This raffle is void where prohibited by law.
  2. This raffle is conducted under New Hampshire RSA 287-A pursuant to a permit issued by the municipality where the drawing is held. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the New Hampshire Lottery Commission.
  3. By purchasing a ticket, the purchaser agrees to these Official Rules and to the Club’s use of the winner’s name and municipality of residence for publicity purposes, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
