The Moultonborough Snowmobile Club takes your privacy seriously. This page describes the data we collect, how we protect it and what we use it for.

The MSC Web Site uses Google Analytics to understand site traffic.  We obey Google’s rules that require visitor anonymity.  One of the rules is to publish this privacy page.  In a nutshell, when you use our web site, we don’t know who you are, but can count the footsteps left behind.  We get reports on how many visitors come to the site  Reports show percentages of first time and repeat visitors, the paths taken through the site and the popularity of each page.  This helps us modify the website to improve your visit.  If you want to opt out of all sites that use Google Analytics, including this one, use this link https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

When you sign up for a membership on our web site, using the online membership form, we ask for your name, address and email address.  This information is entered into the NHSA database.  It is also stored in our own online database that is only accessible by website administrators, who gives it to club operations staff when requested.  The club never sees your credit card information, so can’t store it.  We use the PayPal credit card service as the only online payment method, which ensures privacy.  We never see your card number.  PayPal sends us a transaction ID, which we use to verify that you paid.

No matter if membership is obtained with the NHSA site (preferred), the club web site or via mail-in, members are required to provide a physical mailing address and an email address, so that membership confirmation and/or a membership card and the Sno-Traveler magazine can be delivered.  Those without email must let us know to send the membership information via US Mail.  The club uses membership information to send out notices from time to time and to solicit renewals from previous members.  It enters membership information into the New Hampshire Snowmobile Association (NHSA), since club membership requires membership in the NHSA.

The MSC does not share or sell your information to any other third parties.
